Paradoxes

we spend more, but have less;
we buy more, but enjoy it less.
we have bigger houses, but smaller families;
more convenience, but less time in our hands.
we have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
we’ve learned to make a living, but not life.
we’ve added years in life, but not life to years.
we’ve conquered outer space, but not our inner selves.
we build more computers to communicate faster, but have less communication.
these are times of fast food and slow digestion, of taller men, but dwarfed characters.
these are days of two incomes, but more separations and annulments; of fancier houses but broken homes…"

It is good to be with God,
